Spontaneously trying on cute bating suits. Well, they’re cute until they’re on me. I should have known better than to venture into such things… I always just come out of it with my already almost non existent self esteem crushed even more…
I feel so damn unattractive. My body is so weird. So misshapen. Horrible, even for my size…

Why is it so hard for me to NOT smile when I’m feeling so low?
I can feel so depressed, about to cry and feeling like I’m simply about to lose it. Someone walks in, someone looks at me, acknowledges me, and I automatically smile. 9.5/10. No matter how low I feel or if I want someone to see it, some automatic trigger in my head covers it with a smile.
There are times I do it on purpose as well, sure, But even when I don’t want to it just pops up. A smile to hide and hold it all in.

and you can’t help but smile to yourself for a moment thinking ‘So they DO think about that kind of future with me.’

Foster The Love
Yesterday my boyfriend and I were riding back to his place, listening to ‘Torches’ when the song ‘I Would Do Anything For You’ came on. We sat there a moment before he said something along the lines that he remembers listening to this song last year, around the time that he was really falling in love with me and thinking that it just said things so perfectly for him and the way he felt. Of course I sat there kind of melting and just smiling at him like a giddy little school girl.
Soon we were on the subject of how Foster The People is just kind of a significant thing for us. We really picked up on them (I introduced him to their music) at the same time that things were just seeming to pick up and move in both of our lives in their own ways. We both were really into the music for a while and we’d listen to it together getting super pumped for the coming concert in October. Simply, we were both listening to a lot of Foster as a soundtrack to a lot of things going on in our lives at the time. We had a fantastic time at the concert, we both agree it was amazing. We’ll be seeing them again here in about a month, June 1st in Columbus. I’m really looking forward to it, if it’s going to be anything like last time. And I don’t look for them to let me down on that one.
I’m pretty sure that through the life of our relationship, we’ll always associate FTP with something positive for the both of us, both separately and together.
